HOW SKIN REVITALIZATION WORKS
The Icon uses fractional laser technology to deliver specialized pulses of light energy directly to the surface of the skin to target unwanted pigment, wrinkles, stretch marks or scars without causing harm to the surrounding area. Once the energy is absorbed into the skin your body’s natural healing process will begin creating new, healthy collagen in the treated area.
Over the next few weeks you should see continued improvement in both tone and texture of the skin.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING LASER SKIN REJUVENATION
Depending on the size of the treatment area, sessions typically last about 30 minutes. There is mild discomfort associated with laser skin revitalization and cooling cream can be applied if needed. You may also experience some redness and/or swelling a few days following aesthetic laser treatment, although this typically resolves within three days.
Follow-up treatment sessions should be scheduled 3-6 weeks apart if needed for best possible results. Since this is a non-surgical laser skin rejuvenation treatment, you can return to your normal schedule right away.
